Humidifiers
Humidifiers are devices that release water vapor or steam to increase moisture levels in the air (humidity). They can be used to alleviate physical discomforts caused by dry air, such as dry skin, nose, throat, and lips, sinus congestion, headache, bloody noses, irritated vocal cords, dry cough, and cracked lips. Types of humidifiers include central humidifiers, ultrasonic humidifiers, and impeller humidifiers. Warm mist humidifiers boil water to create steam, while cool mist humidifiers use a fan to blow air through a moistened absorbent material. It is important to clean humidifiers regularly to prevent the growth of bacteria and other pollutants.
