I was feeling a little bit tired this morning so I tried the "Energy" vitamin booster above and boy was it good. All you need is a juice machine and a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. I didn't have fresh pineapples so I just used pineapple juice - it got me right back on track! Be sure to check out these vitamin boosters from Chantelle Grady if you need to get some energy back the yummy way :)
Detox's color is maybe the best thing i have seen today! Literally! =)

ReplyDeleteGreat recipes, especially the detox one!
ReplyDeleteLove this kind of stuff!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had the nerve to do beetroot yet... I may have to suck it up and put that on my list for next. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm always weary of ginger in shakes/juices/smoothies. I always thing it'll turn out...gingery, but in a bad way. I love ginger, but I'm always afraid of it being like biting into a large chunk of raw ginger...if that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean. But since you grate the ginger root (+ pineapple has a strong taste that tends to overpower the other flavors), I think it just adds a nice subtle taste. If you like ginger I think you should try it and see for yourself :) (and if you do, please let me know what you thought of it!)
DeleteI have the same fear as Jessica.
ReplyDeleteHow much is a "piece"?
I used a piece of ginger of about 1/2" and grated it :)
DeleteBeautiful colors and great recipes :)
