Friday DIY Roundup + A Mini Announcement

Happy Friday!

I'm beyond excited today.

So far, the year has been a bit challenging. I've been sick since the beginning of the year (nothing terrible- just unexplained fatigue, fever and abnormal amounts of blood cells). Emotionally, I've been on a roller coaster- something I'm familiar with, and have to be careful about. My partner faced (and is still facing) family issues that have been weighing on our minds- and lives.

I believe that sometimes, escaping can be key to coming back in better shape- pushing that "refresh" button and reinvigorate. It always works for me- even if it's just a short walk outside.

I'm incredibly lucky to escape far far away- I'm going to Fiji! I couldn't be happier and more excited about it. It's been a long time dream (the sea is my element!), and it's about to become reality. I don't realize well, but I'll have a total of 23 hours of travel to pinch myself.

I'm leaving on Monday (June 30) and will be back on July 25.

And I'm leaving this blog in the best hands ever! Not to spill the beans, but there will be wonderful guest posts from some of my very favorite bloggers- expect DIY projects, recipes, and more!

Of course, I couldn't leave without sharing my favorite DIY projects of the week:

1. DIY Faux Crystal Pendant with Gold Leaf Detail from Adventures in Fashion
2. DIY Mason Jar Tumbler from Sweet Lavender Bake Shoppe
3. DIY Watercolor Makeup Brush Jars from Style Me Pretty
4. DIY Polka Dot Floppy Hat from Sugar & Cloth

Have a wonderful, wonderful July and see you on the 25!

P.S.: The amazing series of guest posts will start on Tuesday, July 1. I hope that you will love them as much as I do!
