In Switzerland, it's traditional to eat muesli for breakfast. Basically, muesli is a loose mixture of oats, dried fruits and nuts. Pretty much like granola, except granola is typically toasted with honey and oil. It's usually served with milk or yogurt, which I don't drink/eat, or with fruit juice, which I, respectfully, highly dislike in my muesli. So, no muesli for me. I don't like it as much as I like bread, anyway. I make a bad Swiss (but a good French) when it comes to breakfasts.

A few days ago, I stumbled upon "La cerise sur le gâteau" Flickr stream- a true eye candy. Her photos of muesli bread instantly reconciled me with muesli. Doesn't it look delicious? Well, I scoured the web for recipes, and tried this one- a 7 ingredients, 30 minutes prep, 30 minutes cook, vegan recipe. Simple, easy, scrumptious. I love muesli after all. All things considered, I'm a good Swiss AND a good French. Yay!

  3. You're perfectly you :) Guess what, I don't drink coffee - which everybody always find super weird for a French girl. And I don't smoke. Not really fitting the stereotype either ;) Thanks for including me xx
