Happy Friday! (4 DIY Projects)

Happy Friday! I hope you had a lovely first week of 2012! Today is epiphany here in Switzerland. We eat a galette des rois, which is a puff pastry tart filled with almond cream (there's a recipe here), with a trinket hidden inside. The person who gets the piece of cake with the trinket becomes "king" for a day and gets to wear a cardboard crown. The crowns are usually very colorful and not often aesthetically pleasing, but kids, and even a few adults, wear them all day long ; so charming to see!
Anyway, here are a few DIY projects I'm loving, including two Valentine projects. Will you celebrate Valentine's Day? Any great plans? Please share! Have a wonderful weekend, and see you here on Monday :)

  5. Thanks for the awesome DIYs. I think I will try the spotted mug because it's just so cute. And the "king of the day" sounds really fun! Maybe I will try something like that with my friends. :]
