DIY Chalkboard Gift Tags

Happy Friday lovelies! I'm starting to plan ahead and think about the Christmas presents I'm going to give as well as how I'll wrap them. I really love wrapping gifts and packaging things! But I sometimes feel a little sad when I see the amount of wrapping paper and tags that end up in the trash. So I thought it could be fun to use the current chalkboard trend to make gift tags that would be reusable. Basically, you simply paint a chipboard or wooden gift tag with chalkboard paint, let it dry, decorate as you wish, and write the name of the happy recipient of your gift with chalk.  Simply wipe with a damp cloth and use over and over again! Plus they are really quick and easy to do:)
I hope you like this idea and I wish you have a wonderful, relaxing and fun filled weekend!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! You have just given me the perfect way to "finish" my wedding decor! My centerpieces are wine bottles painted with the chalkboard paint (it would also serve as the table number since we were going to write the table number on the bottle with chalk) with wine candle chandeliers and a small pot of red flowers. The escort cards, now chalkboard tags (thanks to your genius!) will be tied with a ribbon to vintage skeleton keys...and even better if I screw up writing the guests name I can just wipe it off and start again!
