Let's Go Anywhere - Part Two : America

I have traveled quite a lot in Europe and Asia, but really not much in America! There are so many places I want to see. Just like books, the world seems like an endless source of inspiration, discoveries, knowledge, beauty and fascination. Sometimes, when I end up, exhausted and sweating, in dirty hotels, I wonder why I love to travel so much, why it can feel so good to leave the comfort of home. And places like the ones below make that obvious.

Travel is not an innocent activity. A Swiss traveller, writer and photographer that I deeply love, Nicolas Bouvier, once wrote that "a journey does not need reasons. Before long, it proves to be reason enough in itself. One thinks that one is going to make a journey, yet soon it is the journey that makes or unmakes you." I think he said it all.

Anyway, here are a few places in North and South America that I find truly gorgeous. Of course, this is just a selection, and I know there are many, many other beautiful places. If you know a beautiful place and would like to share, I would love to learn about it!

  1. Explorer, author and picture taker that I profoundly cherish, Nicolas Bouvier, once composed that "an adventure does not require reasons. A little while later, it ends up being reason enough in itself. kochi airport taxi are truly ok for the trippers to book your long driving crosswise over India. One believes that one is going to make an adventure, yet soon the voyage makes or unmakes you." I think he said it all. the world appears like a perpetual wellspring of motivation, disclosures, information, excellence and interest. In some cases, when I wind up, depleted and sweating, in grimy lodgings, want to travel so much, why it can feel so great to leave the solace of home. Also, puts like the ones underneath make that self-evident.
