What wonderful photos of the nice places! I was surprised to see Chocolate Hills as one of your target destinations =) as I am from Philippines, and truly, it is wonderful! There are also a lot of places here in the Philippines that are worth going to, and I recommend Palawan, you can try google-ing the images for the underground river, the pristine waters, and other good stuff. Hope to see you someday! ;)

  7. Hi Arlene! So glad to see you here!
I have been to the Philippines three years ago and absolutely loved it! I have visited the Chocolate Hills, it was so beautiful! I have been to Palawan too, such a gorgeous place and I dived in Coron, it was so magical!
I truly fell in love with the Philippines and can't wait to go back. I think it's the most magical place I have been to.
    Do you live in Palawan?
    Thanks for stopping by :)

You have some beautiful photos and ideas for places to visit. I lived in Nepal and would recommend many places there. Some of the most photogenic are Phewa Tal (Pokhara Lake) in Pokhara, views of the Annapurna range, especially Machupachari (Fishtail Mountain) and any other shots of the Himalayas - I recommend getting off the beaten track. I also recommend Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath Temples.

In Thailand I think Koh Phi Phi is wonderful - especially going snorkling.

    1. Thank you so much for all that info Vivienne! I love Nepal. I have been there with a friend whose family lives in Kathmandu as Tibetan refugees, and we visited most of the places you mention. And we were lucky to visit Pashupatinath during Teej festival! It was magical. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me!
I've never been to Koh Phi Phi, hope to go there once!
      Thanks for stopping by :)

Unless I've given you written permission (and have forgotten about it - it happens), please take down the image of Matheran, India. Thanks!

    1. Hi Rishi,

I just took down the image. I'm so sorry I used it without your permission. I was fairly new to blogging when I wrote this post, but that's no excuse. Please accept my apologies. Your photo is amazingly beautiful!
